Fair Housing Change Alliance (FHCA) was born from both pain and purpose.
We are a grassroots, survivor-led organization committed to confronting housing injustice, especially the silent suffering of those with invisible disabilities.
FHCA is dedicated to advancing fair housing through:
- Advocacy that protects tenants, raises legal awareness, and strengthens tenant rights.
- Education for tenants, elders, and disabled residents about the laws that protect them
- Systemic reform targeting housing neglect, retaliation, and ADA violations
- Strategic partnerships that build real accountability from the ground up
We exist to give voice to the unheard. From tenants abandoned without translators, to elders stuck in pest-ridden units, to survivors of retaliatory neglect who are told to stay quiet.
We are not just another nonprofit, we are a movement that bears witness, refuses silence, and demands change.
Our mission is to lift the veil, challenge the abuse, and inspire collective resistance until safe, accessible, and dignified housing is a reality for all.
We envision a world where housing is not a privilege for the few, but a right guaranteed to all.
A world where:
- Elders are respected, not neglected
- Disabilities are understood, not dismissed
- Tenant voices are amplified, not silenced
- And no one is forced to choose between their health and their home
Our future is one where public housing becomes sacred ground — where diversity is protected, ADA compliance is enforced, and justice is not delayed.
This isn’t just our vision.
It’s our vow.
